Exhale: Immersive Sound Meditation and Healing Music Event in Atlanta
"Exhale" is an immersive evening that embodies the act of release—creating an immersive evening blending sound, meditation, and live music.
Known for her ability to engage audiences and amplify the voices of the African Diaspora, Atlanta-based harpist, and sound practitioner Angelica Hairston harnesses the power of the harp as a force for deep renewal at "Exhale". She is joined by Shawn J. Moore, a prominent sound healer and mindfulness practitioner, who creates sacred spaces for stillness and self-inquiry, helping changemakers align their strengths with their impact.
Together, the two will explore the connections between rest, introspection, and collective liberation through music and readings by Black composers, live improvisation, and captivating harp music along with crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes.
To create an atmosphere of relaxation, guests are invited to bring yoga mats, blankets, socks, or any other items that bring comfort.
This event is free and presented in partnership with South Fulton Arts and The Anchor. Tickets are available at no cost and can be reserved above.
