Angelica Hairston Featured in Voyage ATL and Announces Upcoming Healing Event “Exhale”
I’m incredibly honored to be featured in Voyage ATL! In the interview, I share insights into my journey as a harpist, sound healer, and activist. From my early years in classical music to founding Challenge the Stats, my mission has always been about using sound as a tool for healing and liberation.
I’m also excited for the feature highlighting an upcoming event—Exhale, an immersive evening that embodies the act of release by blending sound, meditation, and live music for deep healing. I’ll be guiding the experience with the unique music of the harp, creating a space for healing and liberation. Known for amplifying the voices of the African Diaspora, I’ll be joined by my dear friend and fellow sound healer, Shawn J. Moore. Together, we’ll explore rest, introspection, and collective liberation through music, live improvisation, and instruments like crystal singing bowls and gongs.
Guests are invited to bring yoga mats, blankets, or anything that offers comfort to enhance the experience. The event is free with RSVP and presented in partnership with South Fulton Arts and The Anchor.
